Do the politicians think that the majority of Americans are stupid? They make millions of dollars from our paychecks each year, and don't even have to work. I wish I could get millions of dollars from everyone else's paycheck without having to get up each morning, shuttle the kids to daycare or school, spend two hours in traffic, go to the office the deal with bosses, and then another two hours in rush hour traffic on the way home, only to have to get up and do it all over again the next day. Must be nice. They are taxing Americans to death, eating up our reserve, and still the country is in debt, financially ruined and in a recession that no one wants to admit to even though it's been going on for a few years now. America is flat broke. We can send money to foreign countries to help aide their sick, malnourished, poverty stricken people, but we can't seem to find any money to spend on our own sick, malnourished, overworked, underpaid, poverty stricken people in America. Sounds like the politicians have their priorities a little mixed up if you ask me. Why should we the Americans have to be held as the saviours of the world? They tax us for everything. Have you ever sat down and really thought about or wrote out just how many taxes there are in the U.S. today. Remember a billion dollars to a politician is like pocket change. Just think.... according to recent research from an advertising agency shows that a billion dollars ago, was only 8 hours and 20 mins ago at the rate our government spends it. Hell, politicians don't use calculators, they just throw money around like candy to anyone who asks, anyone except the people who actually earn it or really need it. Just think of all the things the government taxes...... to put it in perspective I'll simply relay an email I received from a friend, author unknown, so here it goes:
Tax his land, tax his wage, tax his bed in which he lays
Tax his tractor, tax his mule, teach him taxes is the rule
Tax his cow, tax his goat, tax his pants, tax his coat
Tax his ties, tax his shirts, tax his work, tax his dirt
Tax his tobacco,tax his drink,they might start taxing us to think
Tax his booze, tax the beer, if he cries, then tax his tears
Tax his bills, tax his gas, tax his notes, tax his cash
Tax him good and let him know
That after all these taxes, he'll have no dough
If he hollers tax him more
Tax him until he's good and sore
Tax his coffin, Tax his grave
Tax the dirt in which he lays
Put these words upon his tomb
Taxes drove me to my doom
And when he's gone, we won't relax
They will soon be after his inheritance Tax, then theres:
Accounts receivable tax, building permit tax, CDL License tax,
cigarette Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Dog License tax,
Federal Income Tax, State Tax, Federal Unemployment tax,
fishing license tax, fuel permit tax, food tax, gasoline tax,
hunting license tax,inventory tax,IRS Interest tax (tax on top of taxes),
IRS penalties (tax on top of taxes), Liqour tax, Luxury tax,
marraige License tax, medicare tax, property tax,
real estate tax, service charge tax, social security tax,
road usage tax, sales tax,recreational vehicle tax,
telephone federal excise tax, state unemployment tax, school tax,
telephone federal, state, and local surcharge tax, telephone minimum
usage surcharge tax, telephone recurring and non-recurring tax,
telephone state and local tax, vehicle registration tax, well permit tax,
workers compensation tax, and who knows they could soon start a life
tax and just tax us for living. Not one of these taxes existed 100 years
ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had
no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and mom
stayed home to raise the kids. What happened? Can you say Politicians?
And we still have to "press 1" for English.
